“The Basic Art of Italian Cooking by Maria Liberati” is a 13 episode series on the art of Italian cooking with interviews with famous chefs a well as local cooks.

Traveling through the regions of Italy exploring ancient sites, cities, breathtaking towns, all intended to reveal the basic nature and interaction of Italian cooking, arts, tradition. There are no cooking shows that can compare with “The Basic Art of Italian Cooking by Maria Liberati”. Maria Liberati, an international model turned celebrity chef, decided to question how food interacted with our life and how it became source of inspiration for artists. Her presentation of Food & Art was requested by the Mozart Museum in Salzburg.

During one of her trips Maria decided to explore the basic art of Italian cooking via exposing old recipes as well as new ones in an informal manner. “The Basic Art of Italian Cooking by Maria Liberati” show will explore the different basic Italian recipes with a particular attention to the recipe’s origin and it context within each region.

“The Basic Art of Italian Cooking by Maria Liberati” is produced for an audience 30 to 65 years old. Any viewer will surely take an interest in traveling through the foods of Italy’s most interesting regions. Cultural topics will be explored though food, wine and related topics that empower viewers to think of their food as having a direct correlation to culture, art and history. Disseminating information in this way will give viewers a new appreciation for food and culinary travel. Topics will be presented in an entertaining pace.
